Drainage solutions can often be more complicated than expected and are likely to influence the development and layout designs. In fact, the need to include space for attenuation, or access across 3rd party land for connections can affect the viability of a development. The earlier drainage is considered in a scheme, the less likely it is to cause problems at a later stage.

Our team of engineers are experienced in foul, surface water and highways; designing drainage from preliminary assessments through to detailed design for a variety of developments, from residential housing estates to commercial development.

Importantly, we have extensive experience in working with Local Authorities, the Environment Agency (EA), Sewerage Operators and Building Control to obtain the statutory consents, approvals and discharge rates, helping to save our clients costly delays.

Design Audits and Problem Solving – to identify potential cost savings or overcome planning problems or connection constraints.
Detailed Foul and Surface Water Drainage Design – detailed design calculations and layout drawings including longitudinal sections and manhole schedules.
Sewers for Adoption – Section 104 Agreements; Application and Technical Approval (in accordance with Sewers for Adoption 6th Edition), Sewer diversions, connections (Section 106 agreements), requisitions, and capacity checks (using Micro-Drainage).
Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) – Designs and Consents including soakaway design and percolation testing.
Package Sewage Treatment Plant – Assessment of failing Plants and advise and compare solutions.
