Sewers for Adoption

(In accordance with Sewers for Adoption 6th Edition)

‘Adoption’ is the process whereby sewers are vested in the Undertaker and subsequently maintained at its expense.

Section 104 of the Water Industry Act 1991 allows developers to enter into a Sewer Adoption Agreement.

Waterco are experienced in producing packages specifically tailored to obtain S104 approvals. Our experience in dealing with Sewerage Undertakers from across the UK means that we can ensure our designs are in accordance with their specific requirements.
We have competed fully adoptable designs for many residential developments in accordance with Sewers for Adoption.
